Hair transplant in Turkey
The Turkish clinics have the best surgeons and the most affordable costs of any location where you can get a hair transplant.
The Este Center in Istanbul, Turkey, is among them. It is a hair clinic that offers superb thinning hair treatment at a reasonable cost and a free consultation.
This clinic’s most commonly used hair transplant technique is FUE. Follicular unit extraction (FUE) is a procedure that involves harvesting hair follicles from a donor area and transplanting them to balding or thinning areas.
During the first few weeks after the transplant, the transplanted hair will fall out, however, this is not a cause for concern. Within a few months, new hair will begin to grow. Because the hair loss treatment’s transplant effect is permanent, it will continue to do so for years to come.
WHAT ARE THE RESULTS OF USING A HAIR TRANSPLANT?
If the procedure is performed correctly, you can expect long-term results from a hair transplant. As a result, you will enjoy your youthful looks once again in no time, and all your hair will grow back after the procedure is finished.
The results will not be apparent right away, so be aware of that. Following surgery, it takes a few months for your recipient and donor areas to heal.
FUE V/s FUT
Transplanting hair from your scalp’s donor area into areas where you have bald spots involves carefully transplanting healthy and loss-resistant hair.
In general, your donor area resides on the back of your head and on the sides of your head, areas that are naturally resistant to hair loss. This results in normal hair growth on the transplanted area and permanent implantation.
Grafts are human hair bundles that grow in small bundles. For the extraction of donor hair grafts, there are two methods available. It is possible to extract any number of hairs from each graft. Follicular units can be extracted in one way (FUE) and transplanted in another way (FUT).
It’s crucial to know the difference between FUE and FUT.
During FUE, one graft is retrieved at a time with surgical equipment similar to a punch. The scar left by FUE is not linear; instead, each puncture site left a small mark that is not easy to tell apart. The requisite number of grafts is removed by making thousands of punctures across a wide area.
This is called FUT or strip excision. Hair grafts are removed from the donor area, a strip of which contains hundreds to thousands of grafts. Grafts are then processed further.
Individual grafts are then isolated using a microscope in preparation for transplantation. Where the strip was removed, a linear scar will remain.
A small scar is achieved by careful planning of an advanced procedure known as “trichophytic closure.”
With today’s technology, FUE growth rates are on par with, if not better than, FUT.
